The client was delivering exceptional work on every job — quality installs, strong referrals, happy customers. But the lead flow was inconsistent. Some months were packed, others were quiet. There was no paid acquisition, no follow-up system, and no way to predict revenue month to month.
The goal was to build a reliable, scalable lead generation engine that could fill the calendar consistently and grow the business without relying on word of mouth alone.

The trades and home improvement space is driven by visual inspiration and local trust. We built a creative strategy that leaned into transformation content — before/after results, job site footage, and finished outdoor spaces that homeowners could picture in their own backyard.
Meta lead generation campaigns were the primary channel, targeting homeowners in Adelaide by age, homeownership signals, and interest in outdoor living. We tested multiple ad formats: video walkthroughs, static imagery, and carousel formats showcasing different products (decks, pergolas, carports).
Landing pages were built specifically for each product line — no generic homepage sends. Each page was optimised for a single conversion action: request a free quote.
CRM automation was the difference maker. Every new lead triggered an immediate SMS and email follow-up sequence — within minutes of submitting. Response time is the biggest driver of conversion in the trades space, and the automation ensured no lead went cold while the owner was on site.
We tracked job value back to the original lead source each month, giving us real ROAS data — not proxy metrics — to optimise against.
